About Me

My Story

Hola! I’m Eduardo Martínez, or Lalo for short, a bilingual Communication & Confidence Coach.

I was born in Tamaulipas, Mexico, and my path into coaching has been anything but traditional. I’ve led classrooms since I was 18, worked in political movements, shaped messaging for campaigns, supervised teams, and supported immigrant communities. I’ve spoken to rooms full of people from all walks of life and built rapport with those navigating trauma and transition. Across all those roles, whether in Mexico or the U.S., one thing stayed constant: the power of communication.

Over time, I realized that communicating with presence wasn’t just something I was good at; it was at the heart of everything I do.

My Why

I know what it’s like to be bilingual in a space that wasn’t built for your voice. To wonder if you’re being understood, respected, or taken seriously. I’ve had my own insecurities about how I sound, how I come across, and whether I’m “enough” in a room.

I’ve also been on both sides of the interview table: preparing for them, leading them, and coaching others through them. I know what it feels like to try to find the right words under pressure. I also know what interviewers are really listening for. That’s part of what makes my coaching different, it’s not just about how to answer a question, but how to connect with your message and communicate it with presence.

I created these sessions for people who want to feel clear and confident, not just sound polished. For those who are tired of holding back, and ready to speak up in a way that feels like themselves.

My Approach

I don’t believe in changing who you are to communicate “better.” I believe in helping you sound more like you: more grounded, more sure, more in control of your story. Whether you're preparing for a big interview, leading a presentation, or just want to stop shrinking in spaces that matter, I’m here to help you show up with presence.

Because your voice deserves space. And your story deserves to be heard.
